Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said each homes can
have five-hour sessions every with Question Hour and zero Hour. Rajya Sabha can
sit from 9 am to 2 pm, and Lok Sabha from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Question Hour

The first hour of each
parliamentary sitting is slotted for this. It is regulated according to parliamentary rules and
presiding officers of both the
homes are the final authority for conducting the question hour.

members raise queries and also the ministers typically provide answers.

namely, starred, unstarred and short notice.

Zero Hour
