Khadi
and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) on Tuesday planted one thousand bamboo
saplings at Tanot village in Jaisalmer, unitedly with the Border force (BSF).
· Project
daring was launched on four Gregorian calendar month from a social group
village Nichla Mandwa in Udaipur district in Rajasthan with plantation of 5000
saplings of special bamboo species over twenty five bigha of arid land Bamboo
plantation, as a part of KVIC’s Project daring (Bamboo Oasis on Lands in
Drought) aims at serving the combined national goals of reducing geological
process and providing keep and multi-disciplinary rural trade support to the
native population.
· In
subsequent three years, one thousand bamboo plants can multiply and manufacture
a minimum of four,000 bamboo logs advisement regarding one hundred MT of
bamboo.
· At
the present market rate of Rs 5000 per ton, this bamboo manufacture can

economy.
· Bamboo
is used for creating agarbatti sticks, furniture, handicraft, musical

Bamboos are
